The SIP 8″ x 2″ Bench Grinder / Linisher (IP-01459) is a powerful, dual-process metalwork machine designed for professional workshops. Ideal for grinding, shaping, smoothing metal workpieces, and sharpening workshop tools, its suitable for ferrous metals including mild steel, tool steel, copper, and brass.

Powered by a S1-rated 370W induction motor (550W S2 10min), it delivers a high-speed 2980rpm operation with quality bearings and machined shafts for long-term reliability. Fitted with a 200mm abrasive grinding wheel and a 710mm x 50mm aluminium oxide linisher belt, both include tool rests to maintain correct angles during operation.

The adjustable LED work light enhances precision and visibility, while safety is ensured with an eye shield, spark arrestor, and stone guard. Additional features include forced air cooling to maximize motor efficiency, a cast iron base with rubber feet for stability, and a water tray for cooling hot materials. The machine is also workbench mountable via four locking holes.
